UCH cut-off mark for Nursing

• Have five O’Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, in not more than two sittings 

• Submit scanned certificates, a birth certificate, medical screening, and passport photographs with the application

Is there a school-wide JAMB minimum?

While JAMB is technically irrelevant to UCH’s nursing program, some unofficial reports mention a general benchmark of 160+, but this appears to apply to university-linked programs, not UCH SON itself.

• Successful exam candidates attend an oral interview, where communication, character, and motivation are assessed

• Final admission is based on combined exam and interview performance alongside O’Level credentials. There is no external aggregate calculation outside these metrics

How many candidates are typically admitted?

UCH SON is highly selective, admitting relatively few students, often between 50 and 100 across all nursing programs each cohort. 

Because of the limited slots, candidates scoring just above the cut‑off may still miss out if competition is strong and their O’Levels or interview performance are weak.
