LASU Post UTME 2025/2026 application form deadline

Lagos State University (LASU) is accepting applications for its 2025/2026 UTME and Direct Entry screening.

With a UTME cut-off mark of 195 and no written Post‑UTME exam, access depends on uploading your UTME scores and O’Level results online.

The deadline for completing payment and self-screening is midnight on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

Who is eligible to apply before the July 26 deadline?

To apply, candidates must:

  • Have scored 195 or above in the 2025 UTME

  • Chose LASU as first choice

  • Be at least 16 years old by October 1, 2025

  • Upload O’Level results (max two sittings) to JAMB CAPS

  • For direct entry: possess LASU JUPEB, diploma, or NCE (education only)

What exactly must be done by July 26?

By this deadline you must:

  • Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee online via LASU portal

  • Complete the self-screening form, entering personal details, UTME scores, O’Level results, choice of course, and supporting documentation

  • Click “I certify”, then download the screening report

Applications after the deadline will not be accepted, so no submissions post-July 26.

Does LASU conduct a Post‑UTME exam?

No. LASU operates an online-only screening model for 2025/2026.

There is no aptitude test, admission is based entirely on UTME score, O’Level results, and self-screening inputs.

That means if you qualify, simply follow the steps; no test prep is needed.

What happens if I miss the application deadline?

If you miss the July 26 deadline, you won’t be considered at all during the primary admission round.

Unlike other institutions, LASU does not reopen its screening portal later .

Any late applicants will have to wait until the next admission cycle.

Are Lagos indigenes subject to extra steps?

Yes. Candidates from Lagos State must also complete the IIVC indigeneship verification between May 26 and June 19.

You need clearance before self-screening, not after.

How much does the form cost and how is payment made?

  • Screening fee: ₦2,000 (non-refundable)

  • Payment is via Remita on the official portal

  • Allow for an extra ₦500–₦1,000 for service charges or cybercafé fees

How do I confirm my application was successful?
