Whether you’re aiming to confirm your score, print your result slip, or monitor your admission, this updated method adds convenience, just follow these clear steps below.

Where to start: the official JAMB portal

Begin at the official JAMB e-Facility portal using your device’s browser by visiting https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckUTMEResults. 

This is the only secure platform for UTME result access, and it supports registration-number login instead of email. 

Bookmark this URL to avoid phishing sites that may try to intercept your credentials.

Logging in with your registration number

Rather than entering your email, type your JAMB registration number (for example, 12345678AB) into the username field. 

If you’ve never changed your password, your temporary password is usually your surname in lowercase as registered during UTME. Input both fields and hit “Login.” 

You’ll land in your candidate dashboard without needing your email. This new method saves time and prevents access issues tied to forgotten emails.

Where to check your UTME result

Once logged in, look for a tab labeled “Print Result Slip” or “Check UTME Results”. 

Click it, enter your registration number again, select your examination year, and click “Check My Results”. 

Your subject scores and total will display instantly. This new direct-access method lets you bypass email-heavy logins and get straight to checking your performance.

What you will see when your result appears

The portal will list your four UTME subjects: Use of English plus your three subject combinations along with scores and the total. 

If your result is available, it displays clearly; otherwise, a message like “Result Withheld” or “Absent” appears. 

Review your results carefully. It’s official and printable.

Printing your original result slip

Want a hard copy? Within the portal, click “Print Result Slip”. You’ll be prompted to pay a standard fee of ₦1,500 using Remita. 

Once paid, you can download and print a certified PDF containing your photo, subject scores, and total. 

This original slip is essential for university admissions and official documentation.

Checking via SMS as a backup

If you don’t have internet access, or the portal is down, use SMS to check your result. Send a message in this format: RESULT <Your JAMB Registration Number> to 55019 or 66019 from the phone number you used for UTME registration. This costs ₦50. 

The SMS will return your result or a status message if withheld. It’s quick, official, and perfect if you lack immediate portal access.

What to do if the portal login fails

If the registration-number login doesn’t work, try entering your registered email instead. 

If both methods fail, click “Forgot Password?”, enter your email or registration number, then reset the password via a link sent to your email . 

Resetting ensures you can log back in and check your result.

Always log in through the official e-Facility link and log out after each session. 

Never share your password or result details publicly. Keep your registration number confidential. 

After viewing and printing your results, use the e-Facility portal to access CAPS for admission monitoring and offer acceptance.
